I think I was a little too much, pulling it back a tad, but hopefully they'll feel obligated to kill me and slym and not anyone else tonight.

I'm curious how the mafia will handle Langly though.
They know he was guarded and have to assume he's in the network.
But they might not think he's a special? I dunno.

i really think it depends on who the mafia is.
I'm hoping that my increased activity and allusions to the vig will make me look like a juicy target, either because they just think i'm alluding to it, or because they think I'm alluding to it so that I look like I'm actually not a special.

Howdy! I don't want to drive you nuts with tips so I'll keep this short.
But if you have general things you would like ideas on, just put something like "@mentors: How can we ...." Otherwise I think you are all doing well and working along a good path. I tend to create a lot of my own spreadsheets, so I can always give ideas I use for vote analysis and such.
I saw something similar stated somewhere in here and I agree with it. Trying to get the mafia to focus on non-special villagers is a good plan. The more you can do to make them believe a non-special villager might be a special, the better. Commenting on things only the village network would know usually does the trick. As a special, just make sure you are not being completely silent, because that can warrant suspicion too.
Good luck! Keep up the good work!

Gonna remind you guys that you have available voting records of not one but two mafia to look over, an analysis advantage the public village won't have until tomorrow.

It may be in your interests to have him voted out based on how the vote goes, you'll all have to make a judgment call on what to do as the day progresses. But you don't *have* to have him voted out. Also I can't find the exact quote but someone was talking about how everyone seemed to be quiet and not wanting to do discussion. Phalla is a group game and thus the village discussion falls onto everyone to maintain, but if a public village network exists they are often the largest determinant for setting the tone of the discussion. If you want more speculation, make sure to encourage it and ask for it. Be careful as your public actions will usually have much more impact than you expect them to, such as everyone sheeping onto the head's vote when he didn't intend it to be a sure thing. Often the best thing to do as a network head is not vote at all until as late as you can manage. This is all very true. People who see a strong and dominant network will tend to stop talking and just vote. If you want to encourage conversation, make sure not to speak like everything you say is infallible.
This is why I am waiting a bit before starting the bandwagon.

Since there are already a couple votes out there for Turkson, maybe we should start some movement on Alkey? See how the thread reacts?
Also, FYI, I'm going to see a movie tonight, so I'll be unavailable from around 7 to 10 EST. I'm planning on placing my vote before I go.

Langly to Captain Marcus -
Hey, noticed that you did not get a vote in last night, which some people might see as suspicious. You might want to jump in at some point and explain why unless you look like you're trying to lay really low.
But also, who do you find suspicious, besides following what the network head is saying? It's one of your first games, I think it would be nice to see what a fresh set of eyes is seeing.
Thought it might be useful to see what who a mafia thinks is guilty

I am willing to switch it up to Alkey after that PM.
Just need to come up with a good reason this time, instead of a non-argument "because I said so."

He's piling on Slym pretty hard, even though he was right about Taya and convinced you to vig her.

well I mean, technically, slym did not push hard for her death in the public thread, but it's super odd how he kept piling it on after I basically said that he said it behind closed doors.
It's his first game, he could just be confused, but I don't think he is.

"Alkey, you look fucking suspicious in this exchange. There is no way langly could lie about Slym's private accusation without me coming in here and calling bullshit. While I have been perusing records and input from the network today, you are lighting up all of my mafia alerts with this series of posts "
