So no matter what, we'll have the mafia down to two members tonight with a pretty good handle on the pure numbers plus a solid list of suspects for those we don't have confirmed. I feel we're in a great position.

Oh, I forgot to take into account we're going to lose our vig tonight too, obviously. Bah.
Mafia and vig are equal in order of operations.. does that mean both of them will "go off simultaneously", so to speak? i.e. will Scruple get his kill even though we know he's going to die?

So the vote goes on Marcus.
The unconfirmed players are: Turkson, MrTLicious, Slym, 38thDoe, Alkey
.. heh. I actually find all of them suspicious in some ways. But I already said that INANTP's list matched my own, so I have Turkson and Alkey at the top, with possibly Slym as well.

King, don't announce our target right away, let people talk/vote first. We've made it a bit too easy for the mafia to slide into our wagon so far.
Also head's up, I'd normally work on Friday but I requested off for a concert early in the day, so I'll be around in the evening the way I wouldn't be able to if I was working.

Yes, if scruple is targed by the mafia, his vig will still trigger

And MrT's post just now makes me feel pretty good about him.
Well assuming Turkson is mafia I guess, since basically MrT has to either be right about his suspicion or he's mafia and picked like the only non-network villager.

Also I'm looking ahead, but: King, will you be around for vote close tomorrow night?
We'll probably need you to announce the new network figurehead in case you get mafia killed.

Spoit gave mentors permission to poast here, so here goes.
Be cautious about offering any seered target to the village, especially when you have a vigilante to kill the target for you, as after you announce someone is seered as mafia, any voting records from that point on are useless. There are reasons to do so (such as saving a network member from the vote, faking out the mafia into thinking you are saving a network member, and others). The most common reason is to prove a seer and establish a village network, which is something you don't have to do. Depending on how the day plays out you may find it better to just kill Captain Marcus in the night, or vote for him without claiming he was seered to see how people react.[/color]

Oh yeah, I forgot that after I got the clarification from Spoit we could easily just have Marcus vigged.
So... yeah. There goes my entire plan.

It may be in your interests to have him voted out based on how the vote goes, you'll all have to make a judgment call on what to do as the day progresses. But you don't *have* to have him voted out.
Also I can't find the exact quote but someone was talking about how everyone seemed to be quiet and not wanting to do discussion.
Phalla is a group game and thus the village discussion falls onto everyone to maintain, but if a public village network exists they are often the largest determinant for setting the tone of the discussion. If you want more speculation, make sure to encourage it and ask for it. Be careful as your public actions will usually have much more impact than you expect them to, such as everyone sheeping onto the head's vote when he didn't intend it to be a sure thing. Often the best thing to do as a network head is not vote at all until as late as you can manage.
